Flightcraft UAV are a commercial photography and CASA approved (Civil Aviation Safety Authority of Australia) operator of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) for the purpose of aerial photography & cinematography covering various industries including asset inspection, industrial, creative work.

We have a team of creative professionals from award winning cinematographers, photographers and some of the best UAV pilots in the country, alongside qualified and experienced forensic engineers and building inspectors for the asset inspection & industrial side of the business.

Our rigs are run on lithium battery electric power systems which delivers clean, quiet and efficient power. This means that even in noise sensitive environments, we have the ability to fly and film/photograph subjects in a non-obtrusive manner.

With a typical setup time of less than 10 minutes, our stabilised UAV aircrafts can supplement and complement the traditional crane/steady cam set ups.

At Flightcraft UAV we work with state-of-the-art advanced autopilot technology with a unique gimbal gyro-stabilisation system enabling the camera on the remote-controlled helicopter to film and deliver images of comparable quality as those shot on manned helicopters in a safer and more cost effective manner.

Working closely with CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority) accredited UAV Operator Certificate (OC) holders, Flightcraft UAV ensures national public liability insurance cover for all its operations.

With a significantly smaller cost base when compared with a full size helicopter, a skilled UAV Pilot and Camera Operator can produce exceptional quality media output. Close range shots that were traditionally impossible to capture with a full size helicopter are now possible with an ability to fly into small and confined spaces.
